Imran received the B.S. degree in computer engineering from the University of Arizona, Tucson, in 2001, and the
M.S. in computer science from the University of Central Florida (UCF), Orlando, in 2005, where he is
currently pursuing his Ph.D. in computer science.
His current research interests include stationary and PTZ camera calibration, multi-camera network
configuration, path modeling and single view metrology. He has also worked on object tracking, path detection
and modeling, event and action recognition in single and multiple cameras.
