Remo Pillat received his Masters degree from Ilmenau Technical University, Germany in 2005. In the Spring 2006 semester he joined the Computational Imaging Lab under Dr. Hassan Foroosh. In 2005 he was the Chief Software Engineering of the DARPA Grand Challenge entry "Knight Rider" from the University of Central Florida. The team successfully competed with the best 43 teams in the USA.
Remo is mostly interested in the interdisciplinary field of Robotics. It encompasses methods from Computer Vision, Probabilistic Estimation and Computer Engineering. He is currently working on Robotvision for navigation purposes.
